SageBot은 VALORANT 커뮤니티의 내전 관리, 티어 역할 관리, Riot 계정 인증 및 관련 Discord 서버 기능을 돕기 위해 제작된 Discord 봇입니다.

본 개인정보 처리방침은 SageBot이 어떤 정보를 수집하는지, 이를 어떻게 사용·저장하는지, 그리고 사용자가 자신의 데이터 삭제를 어떻게 요청할 수 있는지를 설명합니다.

SageBot은 Riot Games의 공식 서비스가 아니며, Riot Games 또는 Riot Games 관련 자산을 제작·관리하는 관계자의 견해나 의견을 대변하지 않습니다. Riot Games 및 관련 자산은 Riot Games, Inc.의 상표 또는 등록상표입니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

SageBot은 사용자가 봇과 상호작용할 때 다음 정보를 수집하거나 저장할 수 있습니다.

1.1 Discord 정보

사용자가 Discord 서버에서 SageBot을 사용할 경우, 봇은 다음 정보를 처리하거나 저장할 수 있습니다.

  • Discord 사용자 ID
  • Discord 서버 ID
  • 서버 기능 설정에 사용되는 Discord 역할 ID
  • 내전 모집 메시지와 관련된 Discord 채널 ID 및 메시지 ID
  • 봇 명령어 응답에 필요한 Discord 명령어 상호작용 정보

SageBot은 봇 명령어 또는 봇이 관리하는 내전 기능과 무관한 일반 Discord 채팅 메시지를 의도적으로 저장하지 않습니다.

1.2 Riot 계정 정보

사용자가 Riot Sign On을 통해 Riot 계정을 연동할 경우, SageBot은 다음 정보를 수집하고 저장할 수 있습니다.

  • Riot PUUID
  • Riot Game Name
  • Riot Tag Line
  • Riot 계정 연동 시각
  • Riot 계정 인증 상태

SageBot은 Riot 계정 비밀번호를 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다.

1.3 VALORANT 게임 플레이 정보

연동된 사용자가 VALORANT 관련 기능을 요청할 경우, SageBot은 해당 사용자와 관련된 VALORANT 데이터를 조회하고 처리할 수 있습니다.

예시는 다음과 같습니다.

  • 최근 매치 기록
  • 매치 결과
  • 요원 사용 기록
  • 승인된 Riot API 접근을 통해 제공되는 랭크 또는 티어 관련 데이터
  • 승인된 Riot API 접근을 통해 제공되는 프로필 요약 데이터

이 정보는 프로필 조회, 최근 전적 조회, 티어 역할 인증 등 사용자가 요청한 봇 기능을 제공하기 위한 목적으로만 사용됩니다.

1.4 서버 설정 데이터

Discord 서버 관리자는 SageBot의 서버별 설정을 구성할 수 있습니다. 봇은 다음 정보를 저장할 수 있습니다.

  • 티어 역할 매핑 정보
  • 관리자 역할 ID
  • 내전 멘션 역할 ID
  • 내전 모집 데이터
  • 서버별 봇 설정 정보

이 데이터는 Discord 서버별로 저장됩니다.

2. 정보 사용 목적

SageBot은 수집한 정보를 다음 기능을 제공하기 위해 사용합니다.

  • Discord 사용자와 Riot 계정 연동
  • Riot Sign On을 통한 Riot 계정 소유 확인
  • 사용자가 요청한 VALORANT 프로필 요약 표시
  • 사용자가 요청한 최근 매치 기록 표시
  • 사용자의 VALORANT 티어 확인 및 설정된 Discord 티어 역할 부여
  • VALORANT 내전 모집 메시지 관리
  • 서버별 봇 설정 저장
  • 권한이 없는 사용자의 설정 변경 방지
  • 봇 기능 유지 및 오류 해결

SageBot은 사용자 데이터를 판매하지 않습니다.

SageBot은 수집한 데이터를 광고 목적으로 사용하지 않습니다.

SageBot은 마케팅 목적으로 사용자 데이터를 관련 없는 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

3. Riot Sign On 및 인증

SageBot은 Riot 계정 소유 여부를 확인하기 위해 Riot Sign On을 사용합니다.

사용자가 Riot 계정 연동을 시작하면 Riot의 인증 페이지로 이동합니다. SageBot은 사용자의 Riot 비밀번호를 전달받지 않습니다.

사용자가 Riot Sign On을 완료하면, Riot은 SageBot이 해당 사용자의 Riot 계정을 식별할 수 있는 인증 정보를 제공할 수 있습니다. SageBot은 이 과정을 통해 사용자의 Discord ID와 Riot PUUID를 연결합니다.

본 방침의 향후 업데이트에서 달리 명시되지 않는 한, SageBot은 계정 연동 및 봇 기능 제공에 필요한 Riot 계정 식별 정보만 저장하도록 설계됩니다. Access token은 인증 흐름에 필요한 경우에만 사용되며, 외부에 공개되어서는 안 됩니다.

4. 데이터 저장

SageBot은 다음과 같은 클라우드 호스팅 및 데이터베이스 서비스를 사용하여 데이터를 저장할 수 있습니다.

  • Heroku: 봇 및 웹 서비스 호스팅
  • Upstash Redis: 봇 설정 및 사용자 연동 데이터 저장

저장되는 데이터에는 Discord ID, Riot PUUID, Riot Game Name, Riot Tag Line, 서버 설정 정보 및 내전 관련 데이터가 포함될 수 있습니다.

봇 운영자는 환경변수를 통한 비밀값 관리, 데이터베이스 접근 제한 등 저장된 데이터를 보호하기 위한 합리적인 조치를 취합니다.

5. 데이터 공유

SageBot은 기능 제공을 위해 다음 서비스와 상호작용할 수 있습니다.

  • Discord: 봇 명령어, 역할, 채널, 메시지 및 상호작용 처리
  • Riot Games API: Riot 계정 인증 및 VALORANT 관련 데이터 조회
  • Heroku: 서비스 호스팅
  • Upstash Redis: 데이터베이스 저장

SageBot은 사용자 정보를 판매하거나 임대하지 않습니다.

SageBot은 관련 법령 준수, 봇 규칙의 집행, 서비스 보안 보호 또는 유효한 법적 요청에 대응하기 위해 필요한 경우 정보를 공개할 수 있습니다.

6. 데이터 보관 기간

SageBot은 사용자가 봇에 Riot 계정을 연동한 상태로 유지되는 동안 해당 Riot 계정 연동 데이터를 보관합니다.

서버 설정 데이터는 봇이 해당 Discord 서버에 남아 있거나, 서버 관리자가 설정을 초기화 또는 제거할 때까지 보관될 수 있습니다.

내전 모집 데이터는 관련 내전이 종료된 후 또는 서버 관리자가 해당 내전을 삭제한 경우 자동으로 제거될 수 있습니다.

Riot Sign On 과정에서 사용되는 임시 OAuth state 데이터는 짧은 시간 후 자동 만료되도록 처리됩니다.

7. 사용자 제어 및 데이터 삭제

사용자는 다음과 같은 봇 명령어를 사용하여 SageBot과의 Riot 계정 연동을 해제할 수 있습니다.

사용자가 Riot 계정 연동을 해제하면, SageBot은 해당 Discord 사용자 ID와 연결된 Riot 계정 연동 정보를 삭제합니다.

서버 관리자는 제공되는 봇 설정 명령어를 통해 서버 설정을 제거하거나 초기화할 수 있습니다.

사용자는 봇 운영자에게 연락하여 자신의 데이터 삭제를 요청할 수도 있습니다.

8. 아동의 개인정보

SageBot은 Discord 커뮤니티 내 사용을 목적으로 하며, 아동을 특별히 대상으로 하지 않습니다.

사용자는 Discord 및 Riot Games의 연령 요건과 이용약관을 준수할 책임이 있습니다.

봇 운영자가 관련 연령 요건을 위반하여 개인정보가 수집되었음을 알게 되는 경우, 해당 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

9. 보안

SageBot은 저장된 정보를 보호하기 위해 합리적인 기술적·관리적 조치를 사용합니다.

다만 어떠한 온라인 서비스도 완전한 보안을 보장할 수는 없습니다. 사용자는 봇 명령어 또는 Discord 메시지를 통해 민감한 정보를 공유하지 않아야 합니다.

SageBot은 Discord를 통해 사용자에게 Riot 비밀번호 제공을 요구하지 않습니다.

10. 국제 데이터 처리

SageBot은 사용자의 거주 국가 외 지역에서 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 클라우드 인프라에서 호스팅될 수 있습니다.

SageBot을 사용함으로써, 사용자는 봇 운영에 사용되는 제3자 호스팅 및 데이터베이스 제공업체를 통해 자신의 데이터가 처리될 수 있음을 이해합니다.

11. 개인정보 처리방침의 변경

본 개인정보 처리방침은 SageBot의 기능 변경에 따라 수시로 업데이트될 수 있습니다.

중요한 변경사항이 있는 경우, 업데이트된 방침은 SageBot 웹사이트 또는 사용자가 확인할 수 있는 방식으로 게시됩니다.

변경 후에도 SageBot을 계속 사용하는 경우, 사용자는 업데이트된 개인정보 처리방침에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

SageBot Privacy Policy

SageBot is a Discord bot designed to help VALORANT communities manage custom scrims, tier roles, Riot account verification, and related server features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information SageBot collects, how the information is used, how it is stored, and how users can request deletion of their data.

SageBot is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

1. Information We Collect

SageBot may collect and store the following information when users interact with the bot.

1.1 Discord Information

When a user uses SageBot in a Discord server, the bot may process or store:

  • Discord user ID
  • Discord server ID
  • Discord role IDs configured for server features
  • Discord channel ID and message ID for scrim recruitment messages
  • Discord command interaction data necessary to respond to bot commands

SageBot does not intentionally store general Discord chat messages unrelated to bot commands or bot-managed scrim features.

1.2 Riot Account Information

When a user links their Riot account through Riot Sign On, SageBot may collect and store:

  • Riot PUUID
  • Riot Game Name
  • Riot Tag Line
  • Riot account linking timestamp
  • Riot account verification status

SageBot does not collect or store Riot account passwords.

1.3 VALORANT Gameplay Information

When a linked user requests VALORANT-related features, SageBot may retrieve and process VALORANT data associated with that user, such as:

  • Recent match history
  • Match results
  • Agent usage
  • Rank or tier-related data available through approved Riot API access
  • Profile summary data available through approved Riot API access

This information is used only to provide user-requested bot features, such as profile lookup, match history display, and tier role verification.

1.4 Server Configuration Data

Server administrators may configure SageBot settings. The bot may store:

  • Tier role mappings
  • Admin role ID
  • Scrim mention role ID
  • Scrim recruitment data
  • Server-specific bot configuration

This data is stored per Discord server.

2. How We Use Information

SageBot uses collected information to provide the following features:

  • Link a Discord user to their Riot account
  • Verify Riot account ownership through Riot Sign On
  • Display a user-requested VALORANT profile summary
  • Display user-requested recent match history
  • Verify a user’s VALORANT tier and assign configured Discord tier roles
  • Manage VALORANT custom scrim recruitment messages
  • Store server-specific bot settings
  • Prevent unauthorized users from changing bot settings
  • Maintain bot functionality and troubleshoot errors

SageBot does not sell user data.

SageBot does not use collected data for advertising.

SageBot does not provide user data to unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Riot Sign On and Authentication

SageBot uses Riot Sign On to verify Riot account ownership.

When a user starts the Riot account linking process, the user is redirected to Riot’s authentication page. SageBot does not receive the user’s Riot password.

After the user completes Riot Sign On, Riot may provide authorization data that allows SageBot to identify the Riot account connected to the user. SageBot uses this process to associate the user’s Discord ID with their Riot PUUID.

Unless otherwise stated in a future update to this policy, SageBot is designed to store only the Riot account identity data needed for account linking and bot features. Access tokens are used only as necessary for the authentication flow and should not be exposed publicly.

4. Data Storage

SageBot may store data using cloud hosting and database services, including:

  • Heroku, for bot and web service hosting
  • Upstash Redis, for bot configuration and user linking data

Stored data may include Discord IDs, Riot PUUIDs, Riot Game Names, Riot Tag Lines, server configuration, and scrim-related data.

The bot operator takes reasonable steps to protect stored data from unauthorized access, including the use of environment variables for secrets and limiting direct database access.

5. Data Sharing

SageBot may interact with the following services to provide its features:

  • Discord, for bot commands, roles, channels, messages, and interactions
  • Riot Games APIs, for Riot account verification and VALORANT-related data
  • Heroku, for hosting
  • Upstash Redis, for database storage

SageBot does not sell or rent user information.

SageBot may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, enforce bot rules, protect the security of the service, or respond to valid legal requests.

6. Data Retention

SageBot keeps user-linked Riot account data for as long as the user remains linked to the bot.

Server configuration data may be kept as long as the bot remains in the Discord server or until a server administrator resets or removes the configuration.

Scrim recruitment data may be removed automatically after the related scrim ends or when a server administrator deletes the scrim.

Temporary OAuth state data used during Riot Sign On should expire automatically after a short period.

7. User Control and Data Deletion

Users may unlink their Riot account from SageBot by using the bot’s unlink command, such as:

When a user unlinks their Riot account, SageBot deletes the stored Riot account connection associated with that Discord user ID.

Server administrators may remove or reset server configuration through available bot settings commands.

Users may also request deletion of their data by contacting the bot operator.

8. Children’s Privacy

SageBot is intended for use within Discord communities and is not specifically directed toward children.

Users are responsible for complying with Discord’s and Riot Games’ own age requirements and terms of service.

If the bot operator becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a user in violation of applicable age requirements, the operator may delete that data.

9. Security

SageBot uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information.

However, no online service can guarantee complete security. Users should avoid sharing sensitive information through bot commands or Discord messages.

SageBot will never ask users to provide their Riot password through Discord.

10. International Data Processing

SageBot may be hosted on cloud infrastructure that processes data in regions outside the user’s country of residence.

By using SageBot, users understand that their data may be processed through third-party hosting and database providers used to operate the bot.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as SageBot’s features change.

If significant changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on the SageBot website or otherwise made available to users.

Continued use of SageBot after changes to this Privacy Policy means the user accepts the updated policy.
