SageBot 이용약관

SageBot은 VALORANT 커뮤니티의 내전 관리, 티어 역할 관리, Riot 계정 인증 및 관련 Discord 서버 기능을 돕기 위해 제작된 Discord 봇입니다.
본 이용약관은 사용자가 SageBot을 사용할 때 적용되는 조건, 사용자의 책임, 서비스 제공 범위 및 제한 사항을 설명합니다.
SageBot은 Riot Games의 공식 서비스가 아니며, Riot Games 또는 Riot Games 관련 자산을 제작·관리하는 관계자의 견해나 의견을 대변하지 않습니다. Riot Games 및 관련 자산은 Riot Games, Inc.의 상표 또는 등록상표입니다.
1. 서비스 개요
SageBot은 Discord 서버에서 다음과 같은 기능을 제공할 수 있습니다.
- VALORANT 내전 모집 및 관리
- 참가자 및 관전자 관리
- 서버별 티어 역할 설정
- 내전 관리자 역할 및 멘션 역할 설정
- Riot Sign On을 통한 Riot 계정 연동
- 연동된 Riot 계정 기반 프로필 조회
- 최근 전적 조회
- 티어 인증 및 Discord 역할 부여
일부 기능은 개발 중이거나 Riot API 승인 상태, Discord 권한, 서버 설정 또는 외부 서비스 상태에 따라 제한될 수 있습니다.
2. 이용 조건
SageBot을 사용함으로써 사용자는 본 이용약관과 개인정보 처리방침에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.
사용자는 SageBot을 사용할 때 다음 사항을 준수해야 합니다.
- Discord 이용약관 및 커뮤니티 가이드라인
- Riot Games 이용약관 및 관련 정책
- 각 Discord 서버의 자체 규칙
- 관련 법령 및 규정
사용자가 본 이용약관에 동의하지 않는 경우, SageBot 사용을 중단해야 합니다.
3. Discord 서버 관리자 권한
Discord 서버 관리자는 SageBot을 서버에 추가하고, 서버별 설정을 구성할 수 있습니다.
서버 관리자는 다음 설정을 관리할 수 있습니다.
- 티어 역할 매핑
- 내전 관리자 역할
- 내전 멘션 역할
- 내전 모집 및 삭제
- 기타 서버별 봇 설정
서버 관리자는 SageBot이 서버 내에서 적절한 권한을 가지도록 관리할 책임이 있습니다. 봇 권한이 부족한 경우 일부 기능이 정상적으로 작동하지 않을 수 있습니다.
4. Riot 계정 연동
SageBot은 Riot 계정 소유 여부를 확인하기 위해 Riot Sign On을 사용할 수 있습니다.
사용자가 Riot 계정 연동을 시작하면 Riot의 인증 페이지로 이동합니다. SageBot은 사용자의 Riot 비밀번호를 요청하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
Riot 계정 연동은 다음 목적을 위해 사용될 수 있습니다.
- Discord 사용자와 Riot 계정 연결
- Riot 계정 소유 확인
- 사용자 요청에 따른 프로필 조회
- 사용자 요청에 따른 최근 전적 조회
- VALORANT 티어 인증
- Discord 서버 내 티어 역할 부여
사용자는 제공되는 봇 명령어를 통해 언제든 Riot 계정 연동을 해제할 수 있습니다.
5. 사용자 책임
사용자는 SageBot을 부정확하거나 악의적인 목적으로 사용해서는 안 됩니다.
사용자는 다음 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
- 타인의 Riot 계정 또는 Discord 계정을 허위로 연동하려는 행위
- 봇 명령어를 악용하여 서버 운영을 방해하는 행위
- SageBot을 괴롭힘, 비방, 사생활 침해 또는 부정행위 목적으로 사용하는 행위
- Riot Games 또는 Discord의 정책을 위반하는 방식으로 SageBot을 사용하는 행위
- SageBot의 보안, 데이터 또는 서비스를 무단으로 접근하거나 방해하려는 행위
- 자동화된 요청, 스팸 또는 과도한 호출로 서비스를 방해하는 행위
위반 행위가 확인될 경우, 봇 운영자는 특정 사용자 또는 서버의 SageBot 사용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
6. 서비스 제한 및 변경
SageBot은 안정적인 서비스 제공을 위해 노력하지만, 항상 중단 없이 작동하는 것을 보장하지 않습니다.
다음과 같은 사유로 기능이 제한되거나 일시 중단될 수 있습니다.
- Discord API 장애 또는 정책 변경
- Riot API 장애 또는 정책 변경
- Heroku, Upstash Redis 등 외부 인프라 장애
- 봇 유지보수 또는 업데이트
- 서버 권한 설정 문제
- API 사용량 제한 또는 승인 상태 변경
SageBot의 기능, 명령어, 설정 구조 또는 지원 범위는 사전 고지 없이 변경될 수 있습니다.
7. 데이터 및 개인정보
SageBot의 데이터 수집, 사용, 저장 및 삭제에 대한 자세한 내용은 SageBot 개인정보 처리방침에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
개인정보 처리방침:
SageBot은 사용자의 Riot 비밀번호를 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
사용자는 Riot 계정 연동을 해제하거나, 봇 운영자에게 연락하여 자신의 데이터 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.
8. 제3자 서비스
SageBot은 기능 제공을 위해 다음과 같은 제3자 서비스와 상호작용할 수 있습니다.
- Discord
- Riot Games API
- Heroku
- Upstash Redis
SageBot은 제3자 서비스의 장애, 정책 변경, 데이터 제공 제한 또는 서비스 중단에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
사용자는 각 제3자 서비스의 이용약관 및 개인정보 처리방침을 함께 확인해야 합니다.
9. Riot Games 관련 고지
SageBot은 Riot Games가 승인, 보증, 후원하거나 직접 운영하는 공식 서비스가 아닙니다.
SageBot은 Riot Games API 및 Riot Sign On을 사용하는 경우, Riot Games의 개발자 정책과 API 사용 조건을 준수하기 위해 노력합니다.
SageBot은 실시간 게임 플레이 보조, 인게임 오버레이, 상대 팀 사전 정찰, 부정행위 지원 또는 온라인 상점 추적을 목적으로 설계되지 않았습니다.
10. 면책 조항
SageBot은 "있는 그대로" 제공됩니다.
봇 운영자는 SageBot의 정확성, 안정성, 지속적인 이용 가능성, 특정 목적 적합성 또는 오류 없는 작동을 보장하지 않습니다.
SageBot 사용으로 인해 발생하는 다음 사항에 대해 봇 운영자는 책임을 지지 않습니다.
- 잘못된 서버 설정
- Discord 역할 또는 권한 설정 문제
- API 오류로 인한 정보 불일치
- 외부 서비스 장애
- 사용자의 부적절한 봇 사용
- 서버 내 분쟁 또는 운영 문제
단, 관련 법령상 책임을 배제할 수 없는 경우에는 해당 법령이 정한 범위 내에서 책임을 부담합니다.
11. 이용 제한 및 종료
봇 운영자는 다음과 같은 경우 SageBot의 사용을 제한하거나 서비스를 중단할 수 있습니다.
- 본 이용약관 위반
- Discord 또는 Riot Games 정책 위반
- 서비스 안정성에 대한 위협
- 악의적인 사용 또는 남용
- 법적 또는 운영상 필요한 경우
사용자는 언제든 SageBot 사용을 중단하거나, Discord 서버에서 봇을 제거할 수 있습니다.
12. 약관 변경
본 이용약관은 SageBot의 기능, 정책 또는 운영 방식 변경에 따라 수시로 업데이트될 수 있습니다.
중요한 변경사항이 있는 경우, 업데이트된 약관은 SageBot 웹사이트 또는 사용자가 확인할 수 있는 방식으로 게시됩니다.
변경 후에도 SageBot을 계속 사용하는 경우, 사용자는 업데이트된 이용약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

SageBot Terms of Service

SageBot is a Discord bot designed to help VALORANT communities manage custom scrims, tier roles, Riot account verification, and related Discord server features.
These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when users access or use SageBot, including user responsibilities, service limitations, and the scope of the service.
SageBot is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
1. Service Overview
SageBot may provide the following features in Discord servers:
- VALORANT custom scrim recruitment and management
- Participant and observer management
- Server-specific tier role configuration
- Scrim admin role and mention role configuration
- Riot account linking through Riot Sign On
- Linked Riot account profile lookup
- Recent match history lookup
- Tier verification and Discord role assignment
Some features may be under development or may be limited depending on Riot API approval status, Discord permissions, server configuration, or the availability of third-party services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using SageBot, users agree to these Terms of Service and the SageBot Privacy Policy.
Users must comply with:
- Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Riot Games Terms of Service and applicable policies
- Rules of the Discord server where SageBot is used
- Applicable laws and regulations
If a user does not agree to these Terms, the user should stop using SageBot.
3. Discord Server Administration
Discord server administrators may add SageBot to their server and configure server-specific settings.
Server administrators may manage:
- Tier role mappings
- Scrim admin role
- Scrim mention role
- Scrim recruitment and deletion
- Other server-specific bot settings
Server administrators are responsible for ensuring that SageBot has the necessary permissions to operate properly. Some features may not work correctly if the bot does not have sufficient permissions.
4. Riot Account Linking
SageBot may use Riot Sign On to verify Riot account ownership.
When a user starts the Riot account linking process, the user is redirected to Riot’s authentication page. SageBot does not ask for or store the user’s Riot password.
Riot account linking may be used for the following purposes:
- Linking a Discord user to a Riot account
- Verifying Riot account ownership
- User-requested profile lookup
- User-requested recent match history lookup
- VALORANT tier verification
- Discord server tier role assignment
Users may unlink their Riot account at any time through available bot commands.
5. User Responsibilities
Users must not use SageBot for inaccurate, abusive, or malicious purposes.
Users must not:
- Attempt to link another person’s Riot account or Discord account falsely
- Abuse bot commands to disrupt server operations
- Use SageBot for harassment, defamation, privacy violations, or cheating-related purposes
- Use SageBot in a way that violates Riot Games or Discord policies
- Attempt to access or interfere with SageBot’s security, data, or services without authorization
- Send automated, spam-like, or excessive requests that may disrupt the service
If a violation is identified, the bot operator may restrict a user or server from using SageBot.
6. Service Limitations and Changes
SageBot is provided with the goal of maintaining stable service, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
Features may be limited, delayed, or unavailable due to:
- Discord API outages or policy changes
- Riot API outages or policy changes
- Third-party infrastructure issues, including Heroku or Upstash Redis
- Bot maintenance or updates
- Server permission configuration issues
- API rate limits or approval status changes
SageBot’s features, commands, configuration structure, or supported scope may change without prior notice.
7. Data and Privacy
Details about SageBot’s data collection, use, storage, and deletion practices are available in the SageBot Privacy Policy.
Privacy Policy:
SageBot does not collect or store Riot account passwords.
Users may unlink their Riot account or contact the bot operator to request deletion of their data.
8. Third-Party Services
SageBot may interact with third-party services to provide its features, including:
- Discord
- Riot Games APIs
- Heroku
- Upstash Redis
SageBot is not responsible for outages, policy changes, data access limitations, or service interruptions caused by third-party services.
Users should also review the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third-party services.
9. Riot Games Notice
SageBot is not an official service approved, endorsed, sponsored, or operated by Riot Games.
When SageBot uses Riot Games APIs or Riot Sign On, it aims to comply with Riot Games developer policies and API terms.
SageBot is not designed for real-time in-game assistance, in-game overlays, opponent scouting, cheating assistance, or online store tracking.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
SageBot is provided “as is.”
The bot operator does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, continuous availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation of SageBot.
The bot operator is not responsible for issues caused by:
- Incorrect server configuration
- Discord role or permission issues
- API errors or data mismatches
- Third-party service outages
- Improper use of the bot by users
- Disputes or administrative issues within Discord servers
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, responsibility will be limited to the extent permitted by that law.
11. Restriction and Termination
The bot operator may restrict access to SageBot or discontinue the service in the following cases:
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of Discord or Riot Games policies
- Threats to service stability
- Malicious use or abuse
- Legal or operational necessity
Users may stop using SageBot at any time or remove the bot from their Discord server.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time as SageBot’s features, policies, or operations change.
If significant changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted on the SageBot website or otherwise made available to users.
Continued use of SageBot after changes to these Terms means the user accepts the updated Terms.
